Mrs. Rebecca Martin Principal

Rebecca Martin joined SMA as principal in August 2006.  A native of Buffalo, Rebecca holds Masters degrees in Educational Administration and Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages as well as a Bachelors degree in Spanish Literature.  In addition to her degree's Rebecca is certified as a NYS School District Administrator, K-12. 

Before relocating to the area due to her husband's appointment as Associate High School Principal of the Shenendehowa Central School District, Rebecca served as Principal at Buffalo Public School #17, and Colden Elementary School in the Springville Griffith CSD.  She brings to SMA a wealth of experience in writing and early literacy and hopes to integrate that knowledge into the curriculum.
