St. Mary's School Board
The St. Mary's Academy school board is comprised of nine voting members, the principal and pastor. The school board serves as an advisory to the administration, assisting with policy formation, development, marketing and the implementation of a 5-year strategic plan.
The school board are active members of the following school committees:
Finance, Character Education, Development, Marketing, and Facilities
The school board meets on the Third Tuesday of the month beginning at 6:30pm at the school. The meetings are open to the public and there is a public forum at the beginning of each meeting.

Margaret Restino is President of the St. Mary's Academy School
Board for the 2009 - 2010 school year.
Margaret graduated from Siena College with a
Bachelor of Science degree and has worked for IBM for 23 years. She is a proud alumnus of St. Mary's Academy
graduating in 1981.
Margaret has three children all who have attended or are
currently attending the school. She is an active participant in the Hoosick Falls
community and has first hand knowledge of the schools ability to
develop intelligent, thoughtful and well rounded individuals.

Eileen Wood- Vice President
|
Eileen Wood is a community board member who received her Bachelors
in Communication/Journalism from St. John Fisher College and her
Graduate Certificate from Cornell University.
She is currently the Vice President of Marketing at WCW, Inc.
Eileen resides in Hoosick Falls, NY with her husband.
They have 5 children and two grandchildren.
Eileen loves SMA for its strong sense of community and its
commitment to values. She
attended Catholic schools through college and has supported St.
Mary’s Academy since moving
to the area in 1999. Eileen is also donates her time to the
Hoosick Area Partnership for Parents & Youth.

| Dean Foster |
Dean S. Foster has lived in the Hoosick Falls
area for the past 16 years. During that time, he has been the
Assistant Headmaster at Hoosac School. Dean has earned a BA in
History from SUNY Albany and a Masters of Arts degree in Educational
Administration and Leadership from George Washington University.
He is the father of Colton Foster in kindergarten and Kaylin in
Pre-K 3 next year. Dean is the husband of Shannon Foster.

| Lori Kempf |
Lori Kempf received her Bachelor of Science
degree from Indiana State University.
She currently is employed as a Leasing Agent for Manchester
Designer Outlets.
Previously, she was the Vice President of Stores for Giorgio Armani.
Lori lives in Hoosick Falls, NY with her husband CJ and two
children Jonathan and Mathew who both attend SMA.
Lori loves the teachers and students at SMA and being outside
with her family.
